About Immersion
Immersion is an annual conference specifically for the youth ages 13-19. It is a youth camp that provides the youth a place where they could experience God away from the television and other every day distraction. Throughout the day, there are many activities planned for the youth. Some activities include workshops, recreational, and worship services. Although the Immersion Experience consists of fun and games and making friends, the most important and valuable experience they will have is the one with God. Although it is only for 5 days, it is very powerful and it will transform the lives of the youth. There have been many testimonies of youth who have received the baptism of the Holy Ghost, and on fire for God.
The objectives of Immersion are:
- Evangelism – Immersion strives to present a testimony of God's saving grace to every person. The camp teaches that Christ is the center of all the Christian does and that Christ is “the way, the truth, and the life.”
- Edification – The staff is devoted to minister to the needs of the youth and to serve them as effectively as possible. The programs of the camp are designed to meet the physical, mental/emotional and spiritual needs.
- Empowerment – Immersion provides experiences for each youth to be effective servants of God. Our goal is motivate our youth to use their passion, talents, and skills for the God’s glory in their pursuit of their divine purpose.
- Encouragement – Immersion is an encouraging place! The youth who attend will leave with a renewed vision to glorify God and enjoy a personal relationship with him. There will also be mentors who will pour into their lives.
